Ruthie and I started out as internet friends, way back in the day, thanks to our blogs. Before we moved to Austin (the first time), she and Jon let us stay with them for a night and gave us a great first impression of the city. We got to know each other well during dinner dates with other blog friends and awesome parties at their beautiful home. The last time I saw her, she was very pregnant with Ford and I was heading to Alaska for the first time.
For the last year, I've been dying to meet Ruthie's adorable little boy Ford! I was so excited when she text me and let me know she was in labor (while I was in Anchorage) and since then I've watched him grow into the cutest little 18 month old ever, thanks to Instagram. Let me tell you, he is just as handsome in person.

She was incredibly flexible on time/location/day/weather which is huge when trying to wrangle a toddler. She was so laid back and basically just let my little guy run around and captured the most beautiful pictures of him!
