I had so many questions, comments, and messages after I had dermaplaning and a facial done at Medispa here in Knoxville, Tennessee I wanted to make sure to do a blog post and video for you all explaining what it is and why I think you should try it!
You guys were cracking me up with your comments about how it freaked you out and I couldn't believe how many people hadn't heard of it before. It's one of the celebrities secret weapons and I promise it's not as scary as it may seem.
First, I want to talk about Medispa Knoxville. They’re office is so pretty and has the just the luxurious feeling you want on your spa day outing. The staff is so friendly and helpful and they sell all kinds of skincare products to fit your specific skincare needs.
Before we started the dermaplaning and hydro-facial she asked me lots of questions about my skin and any concerns or trouble spots I had. I love that she took the time to address all of that before we started. Once we were done, she helped me pick out some skin care products and really went through when to use and how often, etc. Like I said, so helpful and I didn't leave with any questions at all!
Dermaplaning, although it may be scary because of the blade used on your face, feels so incredible and does wonders for your skin. It's a form of exfoliation that sloughs away all of the dead skin and little hairs on your face. This leaves you with a fresh feeling, brighter complextion, and the smoothest skin. I l have such a hard time not constantly rubbing my cheeks after the dermaplaning is finished...so soft!
If a facial is an add-on, I definitely recommend getting one done while you’re there. At Medispa Knoxville, they do the hydro-facial as an add-on and they are one of my favorite things for my super dry skin. I was in heaven after everything was done!
Medispa here in Knoxville, TN has been so kind to give everyone an offer for $25 off the Dermaplaning service if you mention my name. If you go, whether here in Knoxville or somewhere else, pretty please tag me if you post a pic on social media? I want to know how it goes for you!
If you have questions I didn't answer or just want to chat more about it, leave a comment below or shoot me an email and I'd love to answer what I can! And any questions I can't answer, I'll point you to the person who can.
