Places to Eat in Austin, Texas ↠ Juiceland.

JuiceLand has been a favorite since we moved back to Austin, especially now that I'm pregnant...I can't stay away! I like knowing that their smoothies, juices, and food have all-natural ingredients and not unknowns like other smoothie places that use mixes.

My favorite smoothie, that I try to branch out from and keep coming back, is the Originator. It has fresh apple juice, banana, blueberry, cherry, peanut butter, brown rice protein, flax oil, and spirulina. So good. I also recently tried the Double Rainbow Quinoa Salad and it was delicious as well.

I'd eat here every day if my wallet wouldn't hate me for it...

Dave's favorite is the Morning Sunshine smoothie, which has fresh pineapple orange juice, banana, mango, goji berry, and local bee pollen. It's really fresh tasting and I enjoy it too, but I love peanut (or almond) butter in my smoothies!

Have you been to JuiceLand? If so, is there a smoothie (or something else) I'm missing out on?

MossFest 2016

Austin friends- the first annual MossFest is TOMORROW, March 6, from 10am to 4pm, during the ABC Kite Festival at the historic Zilker Hillside Theater! It will feature various local artists, vendors, and associated child-friendly activities. This is FREE to families and will be a great kid-friendly event, which can be hard to find in Austin!

I hope you all will get out and support the Pieratt family as they continue to spread the word about SUDC and celebrate the memory of their beautiful boy, Moss. Also, there will be a Central Market MossFest breakfast the morning of the event. Tickets are $74. 84 and must be purchased in by midnight TONIGHT. They include: a delicious Central Market breakfast for four people, VIP parking inside Zilker Park (huge since there are mulitple events), early access to the park, MossFest goodie bag. Tickets can be purchased here.

Hope to see you there!
