One of the things on my summer bucket list was a wine picnic in the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge area, so we brought JaM Cellars’ Butter Chardonnay and JaM Cabernet along on one of our trips there! Wine only picnics are the best because it’s an easy cleanup…and wine…duh.
We made a stop at The Island in Pigeon Forge, that I mentioned in my recent post about St. Somewhere Spa in Margaritaville Island Hotel. They have such a fun pool area on the roof that has a front row view of The Island’s ferris wheel. Perfect place to enjoy a glass of JaM Cabernet or Butter Chardonnay!
The rooms of Margaritaville Island Hotel are also a great place to relax and enjoy the gorgeous mountain and river views in Pigeon Forge and enjoy JaM Cellars wine. They all have balconies with pretty views and some have big tubs to help you unwind. If you make a trip to the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge area and want a discount to the spa, hit me up first!
But, back to the wine…
The Butter Chardonnay is a melt-in-your-mouth white wine that is perfect for this time of transition from summer to fall. We’ve had a few days lately that have been hotter than it was all summer and I usually prefer a white wine on days like that.
JaM Cab tastes like berries with a hint of vanilla. So delicious! This is my favorite for the cooler nights we’re finally getting here in Tennessee. The cab is also my favorite for enjoying in a nice hot bath alone. That doesn’t happen often, so when it does I savor it!
What is your favorite way to enjoy a glass of wine? Are you a white or red wine type of gal? I usually go by the weather, but sometimes I crave one or the other and just go with that…what about you?
Whether you prefer white or red wine, make sure to check out JaM Cellars selections, you won’t be dissapointed!
