This past year has been the fastest year of my life. It's true what they say, don't blink. It doesn't matter if you spend every hour of every day with your child (I pretty much do)...they still will grow up way too fast and you'll be left wondering where your baby went!
We now have a walking (more like running), jabbering toddler who is so much fun. I loved the baby stage, but I swear it gets better every day. It's so nice that she can almost always find a way to tell us what she wants/needs now. She's always had a big personality, but it develops more each week. She's a little entertainer with all of her giggling, singing, and dancing.
I'd had the idea for the "one" balloons since we did these photos to announce we were pregnant. I can't wait to print one from this session to hang next to the one I have printed from the maternity session! We did it a tad after her actual birthday, but she's still closer to one than one and a half, so I'll take it.
