Like I said in this post, I've been really trying to make more smoothies and have them become part of my routine. And as much as I love coffee, and I do loooove coffee, I've been trying to find a smoothie I could make in the mornings that would give me an energy boost, but still tasted delicious.
I think I found the perfect balance of tasty ingredients that are also packed full of nutrients when I made this smoothie, so of course I wanted to share! This smoothie recipe has lots of superfoods in one drink. It always surprises me how many fruits and vegetables can fit into one glass once you put them in the food processor, anyone else?
Ingredients โซโซ
Banana
3 splashes of Almond Milk (about 2 Tbsp)
1/2 a large carrot
A few small handfuls of blueberries (about 15 berries)
3 leaves of kale
1 Tbsp chia seeds
2 dates, pitted and chopped
Add a few ingredients at a time and pulse them in your food processor, then push the mixture down and add a few more ingredients until every thing is in the food processor. Pulse until it's the desired texture. I like my smoothies to not be completely runny, but I don't want any chunks in there either.
