Snow City Cafe, in Anchorage, is one of those restaurants that is always packed. If you plan to eat here during your trip to Alaska, make reservations, it's the only way to go...if you want to still be sane by the time you finish eating. You can do so on their website, here.
It's a cute little cafe in downtown Anchorage, and it was just a short walk up from where Dave and I lived while we were there. Every time we passed by, we wanted to try it, but they were always so busy that we kept saying "soon". It ended up being one of the last places we tried while we were in Anchorage, and I'm glad I finally made the reservations, it was definitely our kinda place.
The brunch menu had all kinds of delicious and healthy options. I had the nuevo huevos, which were something different (love that) and I really enjoyed the meal. I kept telling Dave he needed to figure out how to make it at home...hint, hint.
