Dave and I visited Unforked in Overland Park in Summer 2016 when I was pregnant with Iris. We had just finished up an appointment with my midwife and I was craving something healthy and delicious. Unforked definitely delivered on both!
I had the Crispy Avocado Taco and the Bad-Boom (Black Bean) Taco, Dave had the Akaushi Burger. We shared a side of chips and guac. Everything was delicious, our only complaint was the portion sizes. You can see how small the guac is, not even enough for all of the chips. Not enough food for a very preggo lady, I'll tell you that!
True to their mission though, everything was fresh and local and we love that. It was pretty fast as well and would have been easy to eat on the go. We came back a second time just for dessert and a parking lot date (does anyone else do that?). I had the Fudge Brownie Pothole Concrete and Dave tried the Chocolate Cookie Dough Concrete. Both were delicious.
We were a bit disappointed in the price point (compared to their original concrete shop Sheridan's). But, this location uses local and fresh ingredients, so ultimately you get what you pay for and I'm ok paying a bit more to know where my food comes from and what's in it.
Have you tried Unforked? I'd love to know what you thought in the comments below! You can find more places to eat and visit here.
